Description
This is a 998cc classic Mini engine taken out of a 1980 Mini.
It's had loads of work done to it before being removed and replaced with a 1275 in 2023 where it has been sat in the garage on the bench ever since.
This 998cc engine has had the following;
NEW CAM BEARINGS FITTED
BLOCK RESURFACED
NEW PISTONS AND RING SET.
CYLINDERS HONED TO SUIT PISTONS
FULL REPAIR OF VALVES SEATS AND GUIDES
LEAK TESTED
CRANK AND RODS INSTALLED WITH NEW BEARINGS AND THRUSTS AND CLEARANCES SET CORRECTLY
NEW TIMING CHAIN AND TENSIONER
NEW TIMING GEARS
NEW SEALS AND GASKETS
NEW WATER PUMP
NEW STEM SEALS
NEW SPARK PLUGS
NEW GEARBOX BEARINGS
NEW CLUTCH
ALL NEW GASKETS
ALL NEW SEALS
NEW DEFERENTIAL BUSHES REAMED TO CORRECT SIZE
NEW GEAR SELECTOR SEALS
