About the Role

We are currently looking for experienced Pipe Laggers to join our client s team on a range of commercial, industrial and mechanical services projects. The successful candidates will install thermal and acoustic insulation to pipework and associated plant, working to a high standard and in line with project programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Installing insulation to pipework, valves, fittings and ductworkMeasuring, cutting and fitting insulation materials accuratelyFitting aluminium, stainless steel or PVC cladding where requiredWorking from drawings, specifications and instructions from supervisorsEnsuring all work meets quality standards and project deadlinesWorking safely at height, using access equipment such as scaffolds and towersMaintaining a clean, safe and organised work areaComplying with all health and safety procedures, including RAMSWorking independently and as part of a team Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipe Lagger or in mechanical insulationExperience working on commercial, industrial or construction sitesAbility to read and interpret drawings and specificationsGood understanding of health and safety on siteOwn hand toolsValid CSCS card (or relevant card, such as ECS or JIB)PASMA and/or IPAF (desirable)Asbestos awareness training (desirable)Experience with cladding (desirable but not essential) Benefits
