Rate: £450–£600 per day

The Opportunity

My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team on a major Data Centre refurbishment and fit-out project in Slough.

With an overall M&E project value of approximately £40m, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a significant project within the rapidly expanding Data Centre sector.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing and overseeing the electrical package, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing and overseeing the electrical installation and project delivery.

* Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and specialist suppliers.

* Managing project programmes, procurement and resources.

* Monitoring progress against programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.

* Ensuring all electrical works are delivered in accordance with specifications and drawings.

* Attending progress meetings and liaising with the wider project team.

* Managing quality assurance, health and safety and compliance.

* Overseeing commissioning activities and ensuring successful project handover.

* Identifying and resolving technical and operational issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

* Proven experience working as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E/building services industry.

* Strong electrical building services background.

* Previous experience delivering large-scale commercial or technology projects.

* Data Centre experience would be highly advantageous.

* Experience managing subcontractors and complex electrical packages.

* Strong understanding of project programmes, procurement and delivery.

* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
