Cleaner for Airbnb

Description

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and hotel/ holiday home cleaning services, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and safe environment for guests.

The job involves daily cleaning of 1-2 holiday homes. Cleaning times will be from 10am onwards until cleaning is completed. Cleaning equipment is supplied but you must arrange your own transport. This is a temporary contract to cover until the end of October 2026. But more work may become available again at the start of the tourist season in March 2027 or even during the holiday season. However there are no guarantees of future work and we are currently just seeking someone to take over cleaning responsibilities for rhe season until October 2026.

Pay is paid via PAYE at £12.71 per hour. Please contact me via phone if you have any questions. We will usually request you do a paid trial shift before taking you on. There are two hours that are currently being looked after by the business.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including bedrooms, toilet, kitchens, and communal spaces.
Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure a streak-free finish.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning essential.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
