Vintage 1960s Silver linked curb charm bracelet + 13 charms - 67.86g. One owner. Can post.
Redbridge, London
£100
Description
A vintage 1960s solid silver curb chain charm bracelet with 13 charms including a Victorian silver coin.
The bracelet measures approx. 6.75 inches (170mm) long excluding the heart shaped padlock clasp. It is a solid silver bracelet with good sturdy curb links each one of which is hallmarked. The heart shaped padlock clasp is fully working and stamped Silver.
My wife bought the bracelet in 1967 when we first started going out and added each charm during our travels until 1971 when we started saving for our first house. It has not been worn for many years and it is now time for a new owner to enjoy it and add their own charms.
The charms are as follows:
1. Opening UK phone box - not opened for many years and I am not going to force it.
2. I LOVE YOU spinning disc.
3. Owl and pussy cat in a boat.
4. Saucepan inscribed Sospan Fach - Welsh for "little saucepan".
5. Cuckoo clock.
6. Lion - quite heavy and hallmarked.
7. Victorian UK four pence coin known as a 'groat' dated 1849.
8. Fruit and Veg market stall.
9. Cologne Cathedral.
10. Lions head.
11. Opening Pyramid - not opened for many years and I am not going to force it.
12. 21st Birthday key.
13. Another 21st Birthday key.
This charm bracelet is very individual and has a good weight of just of 67.86g.
Ready to wear or it would make a special gift.
From a pet and smoke free home.
