Hello,

I am a qualified English instructor and a published author, who is currently available for tutoring services in Edinburgh. I have 12 years teaching experience in the undergraduate University system in Canada, as well as extensive tutoring with students of various ages and abilities. My areas of specialisation include: literary and critical analysis, comprehension, essay writing skills, and exam preparation.

Focus: S3, GCSE, National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher.

I am also available for academic editing at all levels and happy to provide critical feedback and revision on creative writing projects.

I am friendly, patient, and passionate about literature and writing. I am familiar with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence and have a flexible schedule. I live and work from my home in Morningside and would be delighted to help students enhance their English language skills and boost their confidence. I have a PVG Membership (children) with Disclosure Scotland and can provide this to prospective clients.
