Description
Pair book matched large and thick Elm slabs or boards 100 inches and 84 inches long.
Cut in 1995 from a tree on an estate in the borders and seasoned in a cool dry outhouse ever since.
Very nice figured grain.
Some old beetle in the sapwood here and there dating from before the log was converted (see pictures). Still apparantly dormant.
Surface as sawn.
Dimensions
94 inches long x 14 inches wide x 1 7/8 inches thick.
100 inches long x 14 inches wide x 1.3 inches thick.
