Description
Huge solid Elm beam or lintel for fireplace or doorway.
Cut in 1995 from a tree on an estate in the borders and seasoned in a cool dry outhouse ever since.
Waney edge at the rear face of the beam.
Almost impossible to get such an item now in elm and of this sort of size.
Dimensions
7 ft long x 13.5 inches high x 5 inches thick.
