Description
Huge solid Elm beam or lintel for fireplace or doorway.
Cut in 1995 from a tree on an estate in the borders and seasoned in a cool dry outhouse ever since.
Waney edge in sections of the rear face of the beam.
Sawn finish.
Almost impossible to get such an Elm beam and in this sort of size now.
Dimensions
7 ft long x 15 inches high x 6 inches thick.
