Role: Transport Driver

Location: Poole

Employer: Main Dealer

Shift: Days – 42.5 hours

Salary: 33,000

The Role

As a Transporter Driver, you will be the "face" of the dealership during vehicle movements. You will safely transport vehicles to and from customers, sites, and other locations, ensuring every vehicle arrives in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe Operations: Operate dealership transport vehicles in strict accordance with legal and company requirements.

Loading & Securing: Expertly load, secure, and deliver vehicles to ensure zero damage.

Compliance: Maintain accurate transport logs, including Tacho records and vehicle checklists.

Customer Excellence: Provide a professional and courteous service during all customer interactions.

Aftersales Support: Assist the Workshop and Aftersales teams with vehicle preparation and minor valeting when required.

Reporting: Promptly report any defects or incidents and adhere to all Health & Safety policies.

What We're Looking For:

Licences: Full C1 or C1+E driving licence (Essential).

Certification: Valid Personal Tacho Card and up–to–date CPC (Essential).

Experience: Proven background in vehicle transport or HGV driving.

Skills: Strong understanding of road safety, vehicle loading procedures, and excellent communication skills.

Attributes: A professional, customer–focused attitude with high attention to detail.
