On Gumtree you can always save a job for later. Simply click the heart to add a job to your 'Favourites'. It will depend on the recruiter when you will hear back after applying. Check the job description to see if this information has been provided by the recruiter. Some jobs which receive huge numbers of applicants may not always respond if unsuccessful.
