Location: Hillingdon
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an inventive DT Teacher to join a progressive and practical school in Hillingdon. The successful candidate will empower students to design, create, and innovate solutions to real–world problems. This role involves guiding students through the design process, fostering practical skills, and exploring modern manufacturing techniques.
The Role
The DT Teacher will:
Deliver engaging, hands–on, and creatively driven lessons across Key Stages 3–5, encompassing resistant materials, textiles, product design, and digital manufacturing. Guide students through the iterative design process, from ideation to evaluation. Cultivate essential practical skills and safe workshop practices. Contribute to departmental activities, including design clubs and engineering challenges. The Ideal Candidate
