Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the technical delivery of large–scale events and exhibitions. The role involves ensuring the smooth execution of all technical operations, including construction, audio–visual, brand activations, and on–site services. This position requires both strategic thinking and a hands–on approach to problem–solving, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences. The Project Manager will manage operations, workshop, and warehouse teams, as well as oversee the selection and management of strategic partners.

Project Manager – Role & Responsibilities

Technical Planning & Coordination: Develop and execute detailed technical plans for events and exhibitions, ensuring all requirements are met on time and to the highest standard. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate in–house production teams and external contractors, providing guidance, training, and performance management. Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, secure equipment and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery. Budget Management: Prepare and oversee technical budgets, delivering cost–effective solutions without compromising quality. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all technical operations meet health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing robust safety measures. On–Site Supervision: Manage event build, operation, and breakdown, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Innovation & Improvement: Keep up to date with industry trends and technologies, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and audience experience. Project Manager – Person Specification

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of lighting, sound, video, and temporary structures in exhibitions. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high–performing teams.
