This Lot will be sold at auction at Mercedes-Benz World; on Saturday 28th November.\n\nThe Range Rover L322 is increasingly recognised as one of the most capable and desirable luxury SUVs of its era, combining traditional Range Rover comfort with strong performance and everyday usability. In recent years, this generation has seen a notable rise in popularity, particularly when enhanced by respected specialists such as Overfinch. Founded in 1975, Overfinch has built a reputation for producing high-quality, bespoke enhancements for Range Rovers, blending luxury craftsmanship with distinctive styling. Full Overfinch conversions are rare, and examples supported by factory confirmation and certification are especially sought-after.\n\nThis being a later run-off model of the L322, has the more reliable, powerful and economical 4.4TDV8, over the 3.6 that preceded it with over 300hp and 700nm of torque. This model has the rising rotary dial with the 8-speed ZF 8HP70 automatic transmission, unlike the earlier ones that had a traditional stick. When new, this car benefited from both an exterior and interior (less often seen) makeover directly from Overfinch, at a cost of over £40,000. This included the desirable aero bodykit, Overfinch lettering, 22’’ Overfinch Olympus alloys, Overfinch steering wheel and full Overfinch leather interior, carpets leather door cards. This car is an official Overfinch car with the documentation. The car now has 123,800 miles and recent work (all in last £4k miles) has included a calliper refurb all round, new oil cooler, new hoses, new under car rigid metal break lines, new Pirelli scorpions tyres all round and a recent big service via A1 independent 4x4 of Bury. Paintwork is good and previously cared for with a ceramic coat. No extensive corrosion in the usually seen areas of the door shuts and tailgate and the air suspension works fine. The L322 is long considered by many to be Range Rover at its best and these later specialist models represent the definitive ‘sweet spot’ for the L322.
