Description

Red Jaguar XKR with the 370bhp supercharged V8 and five-speed automatic gearbox. First registered in March 2001.

The car starts first time, drives well and changes gear smoothly. My dad has owned it since November 2024 and is selling because he finds it sits too low for him and has since bought another car.

MAINTENANCE AND HISTORY
The previous owner confirmed the timing chain tensioners had been upgraded, although I don't have paperwork to verify this.

The service information I have is limited to invoices and receipts for the following work:
- May 2026: Oil service, air filter and wheel alignment
- June 2024: Front and rear brake discs and pads, eight spark plugs, air, pollen and fuel filters, and two control-arm bushes
- 2018: Both fuel pumps and a relay replaced

MOT AND CONDITION
The latest MOT passed with the following advisories:
- Both front lower suspension arm ball-joint dust covers severely deteriorated
- Both front steering linkage ball-joint dust covers damaged or deteriorated
- Slight deterioration of the nearside rear driveshaft coupling
- Non-excessive oil leak at the rear differential

At the recent MOT, the garage commented that the underside was in good condition. There is some age-related surface corrosion underneath, along with paint wear and rust bubbling on the bodywork, as shown in the photos.
