IT Support & Facilities Coordinator – Aberdeen

Aberdeen | Full-Time

Reporting to: IT & Facilities Manager

A respected and well-established organisation within the civil engineering sector is seeking a proactive IT & Facilities Support Assistant to join its team in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy, organised individual who enjoys a varied workload spanning both digital systems support and facilities coordination.

The Role

Working closely with the IT & Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will help ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT environment and the effective upkeep of its office and workshop facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and taking ownership of day-to-day operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

*

Deliver first-line IT support to office and site-based teams.

*

Assist in maintaining and developing internal IT systems and applications.

*

Work closely with third-party IT providers, ensuring licence and service agreement compliance.

*

Produce and analyse reports using tools such as Excel and business system data.

*

Support the procurement, setup, and rollout of new IT equipment.

*

Coordinate repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities across multiple facilities.

*

Obtain quotations for maintenance and small project works.

*

Champion a strong culture of health, safety, quality, and environmental best practice.

Essential Requirements

*

Strong IT capability complemented by solid administrative skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Awareness of health & safety principles.

*

Ability to manage tasks independently and work to deadlines.

*

A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.

Desirable

*

Knowledge of facilities management or contractor coordination.

*

Previous experience in IT support or facilities-related roles.

*

Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.
