About the Role

Support the Registered Manager in the overall leadership and day–to–day running of the homeLead and motivate the team to deliver high–quality, trauma–informed careTake responsibility in the absence of the Registered ManagerOversee care plans, keyworking, and daily operations to ensure compliance and consistencyContribute to the development of a safe, supportive, and structured home environmentUphold the organisation's values and model professional conduct at all timesSupport with staff recruitment, training, and supervisionWork collaboratively with professionals, families, and stakeholdersParticipate in the on–call rota as part of the leadership team

Requirements

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)Minimum 2 years' experience within children's residential carePrevious leadership or senior experience (e.g., Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, or Deputy)Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's legislationPassionate about promoting positive outcomes for children and young peopleConfident communicator and hands–on team playerAbility to work flexibly, including shifts, weekends, and sleep–ins
