Live-In Domestic Couple Required in Oxfordshire – ASAP Start

We are seeking a Domestic Couple for our client’s weekend residence in Oxfordshire.

Location: Oxfordshire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, additional hours when family are in residence.
Salary: £85,000 + gross per annum

Overview:

Our client, who spends 3 months of the year at the property, mainly over the weekends is looking for a hard-working Domestic Couple to assist with the running of the Estate.

The family have two dogs, so the ideal couple must be happy to assist with caring for the dogs. Due to the remote location of the property driving is essential and so would suit a couple who have a genuine love for countryside living.

When the family host dinner parties and shoot parties, external staff are hired to assist.

Duties included but not limited to:

Housekeeping:

Traditional housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, hoovering and mopping.
Laundry, including changing the bed linens in the 5 bedrooms.
Arranging flowers and candles throughout the home.
Grocery shopping, ensuring all household supplies are well stocked.
Family style cooking, using ingredients from the kitchen garden.

Handyman/houseman:

Ensuring fires are laid and logs are chopped.
Valet duties when the family are in residence.
Chauffeuring too and from the airport.
Upkeep of vintage car fleet.
Setting table and serving drinks.

Benefits:

Studio cottage, with kitchenette and bathroom provided, all bills paid for.

Key criteria:

At least 3 years experience in a similar position in private household.
Proactive and able to manage their own schedule.
Drivers licence required.
