Summary

We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our service team at M and M Plant in Devon & Cornwall. Based at our new site, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service management and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the service department to ensure efficient workflow.

Lead and motivate the service team to deliver exceptional customer support.

Manage repair schedules, parts inventory, and maintenance processes.

Develop upselling strategies to enhance revenue from service offerings.

Maintain high standards of mechanical work and safety compliance.

Build strong relationships with customers to promote loyalty.

Coordinate with sales teams to identify opportunities for additional services.

Ensure accurate cash handling and financial procedures are followed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

Ability to lead a team effectively and motivate staff.

Experience in upselling services or products is advantageous.

Good organizational skills for managing schedules and inventory.

Knowledge of cash handling procedures.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent computer skills, training will be given

Prior experience in a dealership or service environment is preferred.
