Hi, I am max, and im looking for a new home, I am 13months old dachshund cross collie, mom says im an amazing dog and so much fun to be around. I am with this family to be a support companion for her daughter who has anxiety to try and help her outside the house but it is having the reverse effect and helping her stay in as she has a friend to sit and keep her company that's me!
I have just been neutered sad face, prior to this i have been extremely energetic but have calmed abit now (unless i am bored) I love to learn, I know lots!
When out walking "road" means we will be crossing, occasionally forgets but knows "sit" and "wait" and "walk on" to cross,
"Leave" if im to interests in something and "walk on" to help me get moving,

General camands;
Sit
Paw/other paw
Down
Roll over (not completely mastered)
Spin (turn either direct)
Away ( few steps back)
Off (if im on something/someone/jumping up)
Bed/in (in my cage/bed)

Down falls are I really like to eat tissues and i destroys toys not found one that's made it out alive yet, i loves cuddles and affection, i do not like being left on my own (but is getting better but will bark) barks once to let you know there's someone at the door before they knock and that's it, i get over excited around other dog when on the lead and recall isn't great when he's found something he wants when out and about but walks so we'll off the lead otherwise, does pull abit when on the lead as being out side is so much fun, I also sit in my cage when people eat so I dont help myself to tasty food.
I dont like baths but will take one if I have to and really hate the dryer an anything that sprays/makes the spray noise, the sucky thing keeps trying to suck me up with all the bits on the floor but I fights it and will defeat it for good one day
I come with lots of goodies, cage/cage cover/bedding treats toys leads shoes/coat night collar
Up to date with flea/worming and vaccinations
And microchipped
