Foster + Partners office in London holds around 1800 people currently. There is an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join the Facilities team to maintain the buildings.

Responsibilities:

– Develop, provide and maintain a high standard of building fabric services.

– Undertake planned and unplanned maintenance tasks

– Carry out minor project, decorating, plumbing and project management works.

– Supervise specialist maintenance and installation contractors, both within and outside normal working hours.

– Source, order and cost materials and parts required.

– Produce weekly reports

Key skills:

– Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities

– Previous experience in maintenance work in particular Building/Fabric/Joinery

– Pro–active and able to work on own initiative under minimal supervision

– Good written and verbal skills

– Experience dealing with customers

– Physically able to carry out the responsibilities

– Experience with L8 testing
