About Us

Cleveden Deli is a friendly neighbourhood deli in Glasgow’s West End, known for fresh food, quality coffee, and welcoming service. We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join our shop team and help deliver a great experience for our customers.

The Role

This role is similar to a hot and cold shop assistant position. You’ll be serving customers, preparing food items, handling payments, and keeping the shop clean and well stocked. It’s a fast-paced environment where teamwork and good customer service are key.

Key Responsibilities

Serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner

Preparing and displaying sandwiches, baked goods, and deli items

Making hot drinks and handling simple food prep

Operating the till and handling payments

Keeping the shop clean, organised, and well stocked

Following food hygiene and safety standards

Working as part of a small team during busy periods

What We’re Looking For

Friendly and positive attitude

Good customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment

Reliable and punctual

Previous experience in a café, bakery, takeaway, or retail shop is helpful but not essential

Hours

Part-time hours

Monday to Friday
