Description
FRESH STOCK
This late nineteenth century print depicts the capture by Captain Peter Rainier commanding HMS Caroline, of the Dutch ship Maria Reijersbergen on 18 October 1806.
Framed, and sold by AJ Cheshire of Boscombe, this print was presented as a prize, along with a “100 guinea sword.”
The print is fairly sharp and the original frame is in great antique condition.
