πͺ Large Antique Cast Iron Three-Legged Cauldron

Description
πͺ Large Antique Cast Iron Three-Legged Cauldron β Irish Farmhouse / Open Fire Pot | Genuine Victorian Era
This is a truly exceptional piece of domestic Irish history and I donβt use that word lightly.
This large cast iron cauldron has been in the same family for three generations. It stands on three original cast legs, has two ear handles, and retains a spectacular aged patina β both inside and out β that only comes from decades of genuine open-fire use.
What makes this piece particularly special are the markings visible on the base β circular indentations and casting marks that are characteristic of 19th century Irish or British foundry production. These markings are of genuine interest to collectors and historians of domestic ironware.
The interior shows the honest wear of a working pot β used to feed families, boil laundry, render lard, heat water. This is living history in cast iron.
Ideal for:
πΏ Large garden planter β stunning with herbs or seasonal flowers
π₯ Outdoor fire pit feature
ποΈ Farmhouse or rustic interior centrepiece
πΈ Film, TV, or photography prop
π Statement Halloween or event display
I also have a beautiful graduating set of three matching cast iron kettles available separately β see my other listings.
Asking Β£150
This is a serious piece for a serious buyer. Iβm in absolutely no rush and the price reflects what it is. Genuine interest only please.
