Volkswagen VW Passat Estate 2007, parking brake stuck on, 9 months MOT left

Driven Cambridge to London last week, but now the electronic parking brake shows a fault and won't release. Before that the clutch pedal had started sticking half way up on the return. The RAC said that the brake probably needs a new motor on the caliper, and the clutch probably needs a master cylinder. I can't be sure that he was right of course, but he had a good try to release the brake and said it needs the caliper retracted. But it's been a good family car with a reliable engine for years for us. It is very comfortable for trips to Yorkshire or Cornwall, and always surprises me at how economical it is to get there.
Bodywork not perfect, it has small dents and scratches from when it was parked on a narrow road. See the photos.

This car has a strong engine, it's been very reliable, and is extremely economical on fuel.
Large boot area very useful for a family holiday or for moving things.
Reason for sale - no longer need such a large car, so I've been meaning to sell it soon, and then the parking brake got stuck on suddenly. So selling for Spares or Repair. Car will need to be towed because of that parking brake.
Nine months MOT with no advisories.
