School Cleaner

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking School Cleaners to join Bolton Council on temporary part time assignments.

This role involves providing a high standard of cleaning within local schools across Bolton. You will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff, working as part of a friendly and supportive facilities team. These assignments are part time and hours may vary depending on service needs.

Main Duties:

* Carrying out general cleaning duties including mopping, brushing, vacuuming and sanitising surfaces

* Maintaining hygiene standards within classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas

* Emptying bins and managing waste in line with site procedures

* Reporting any cleaning supply shortages or maintenance issues to the onsite supervisor

* Following all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Essential Criteria:

* Enhanced DBS certificate

* Previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally within an education setting xjnqpsq

* Ability to work to set routines and timeframes

* Good attention to detail

* Reliability and a positive approach to working within a school environment

* Willingness to take on early morning or late afternoon shifts depending on site requirements
