Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a housing provider for an experienced Lettings Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality allocations, lettings, and empty property management service.
This Lettings Officer role is ideal for a housing professional with strong experience in allocations and empty homes, who can work proactively to ensure properties are re-let efficiently and in line with policy.
Key Responsibilities of a Lettings Officer:
Support the delivery of an effective allocations, lettings, and empty property management service as a Lettings Officer.
Ensure vacant properties are re-let in accordance with the allocations policy and within agreed timescales to meet performance targets.
Carry out shortlisting and eligibility assessments to ensure sustainable lettings.
Maintain and develop effective working relationships with local authorities regarding Choice Based Lettings and nomination agreements.
Ensure lettings processes operate effectively to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
What We'd Love To See From You:
Previous experience working in the housing sector, particularly in lettings, allocations, or empty property management.
Strong understanding of allocations policies and sustainable tenancy principles.
Experience working with Choice Based Lettings schemes and local authority partners.
Well organised, customer-focused, and able to manage workloads effectively. xjnqpsq
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
What's On Offer:
26 hours per week - over 4 consecutive days
