Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Chelmsford, CM2 Area

Hours: Late shift - typically 1.00 PM - 10.45 PM, but shifts can vary to from 11.00 AM Starts during peak periods

Pay: £13.98 per hour

Salary: £30,000 per year upon permanent placement

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team on a Temp to Perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and dynamic operation, with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent role.

You will work primarily on the late shift, assisting with the smooth running of our warehouse operations, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading deliveries

Verifying and checking incoming shipments

Picking and packing orders using hand-held scanners

Replenishing inventory and restocking shelves

Storing goods safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations

Accurately recording inventory levels and assisting with stock checks

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Operating warehouse equipment such as pump trucks, forklifts, man-ups, and flexi trucks

Candidate Requirements

Previous warehouse or operations experience preferred (1 year minimum)

Hardworking, reliable, and able to work as part of a team

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Comfortable using IT systems

Physically xjnqpsq fit and able to lift and move heavy items

Forklift licence desirable but not essential (training may be available)
