Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)

Location: Great Blakenham, Ipswich

Pay: £13.98 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Forklift Operator for a long-term opportunity based in Great Blakenham, Ipswich. This role involves operating a counterbalance forklift for the majority of the shift within a busy recycling/industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a counterbalance forklift throughout the shift

Load and unload baled and palletised materials efficiently

Weigh, prepare, and process materials through the plant

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures

Report maintenance issues and any material contamination promptly

Work closely with the Weighbridge team to manage inbound and outbound materials

What We are Looking For

Proven forklift operating experience

Valid FLT Counterbalance certificate (essential)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Previous assembly or electronics experience xjnqpsq is desirable but not essential

Willingness to commit to a long-term / temp-to-perm opportunity

What is on Offer

Monday-Friday daytime hours (no weekends)
