Description
Elddis Transport is a well-established and well-respected haulage company based in the North East. We require Class 1 drivers for our Retford based operations working Monday to Friday night shift .
Basic hours: GBP18.18
Weekend hours: GBP18.71
Responsibilities
Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic regulations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance.
Manage loads securely, ensuring proper strapping as needed.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
Communicate effectively with traffic office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Previous experience prefered.
