Academics Ltd is currently recruiting for a proactive and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in the Gloucester area. This is a fantastic chance to make a real impact in a supportive setting, gaining valuable classroom experience along the way.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils across a range of subjects, assist with classroom routines, and help create a positive learning environment. Your role will be essential in promoting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

Key Details:

Gloucester

Mainstream Primary

Daily Pay: 85– 100 (dependent on experience)

A valid enhanced DBS is required (or willingness to apply through Academics Ltd)

Must provide references covering the last two years

Full–time, term–time only position

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Provide one–to–one and small group support for pupils needing additional help

Help maintain a positive and well–managed classroom environment

Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) using tailored strategies

Assist with preparing resources and general classroom administration

Encourage positive behaviour and promote social and emotional development
