The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of your pupils. You will create a supportive and engaging learning environment, ensuring every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs

Support pupils with EHCPs and adapt learning accordingly

Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals

Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and target setting

Create a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

Implement effective behaviour management strategies

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience working with SEND pupils (in specialist or mainstream settings)

Strong understanding of a range of additional needs

A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
