SEND Tutor - Wrexham
Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide personalised educational support across Wrexham!
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate SEND Tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with children and young people who require additional support with their education.
The successful candidate will adapt their teaching to suit the individual learner, helping them overcome barriers to education, develop confidence and make positive progress.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher, tutor or mentor who enjoys working closely with young people and creating a supportive learning environment.
Position Details:
Location: Wrexham
Position: SEND Tutor
Hours: 5-15 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
We're looking for candidates with:
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
Experience in teaching, tutoring or mentoring
QTS or equivalent qualification desirable
Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
A patient, adaptable and learner-centred approach
To be eligible for this role, you must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service xjnqpsq or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
