Aspire People are looking for a Functional Skills Teacher/Tutor to support learners aged 18-23 across three sites in the South East of England.

This is a 3-day-per-week position, supporting young adults to develop their Functional Skills in English and/or Maths and helping them gain thFunctional Skills Tutor - 18-23-Year-Old Learners

Location: 3 sites across the South East of England (Hampshire,Porstmouth and Southampton)

Hours: 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Functional Skills lessons tailored to individual learner needs.

Support learners aged 18-23 working towards Functional Skills qualifications.

Build positive and professional relationships with learners.

Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles.

Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

Encourage learners to develop confidence, independence and motivation.

Maintain accurate learner records and progress reports as required by the agency.

Work across three sites in the South East of England as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in tutoring, teaching or supporting young adults.

Knowledgeable about Functional Skills English and/or Maths.

Patient, approachable and able to build strong relationships with learners.

Flexible and comfortable working across multiple locations.

Reliable, organised and professional.

Passionate about helping young people achieve their goals.
