Prospero Teaching are recruiting Outreach Tutors to support young people across Anglesey!

The Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Outreach Tutors to provide 1:1 educational support to learners who may be struggling to engage with mainstream education.

The young people we work with may be out of school, awaiting a placement or accessing alternative provision.

Your role will involve delivering tailored tuition whilst developing a strong working relationship with the learner. You'll help them rebuild confidence, develop positive learning habits and work towards their individual educational goals.

Location: Anglesey

Position: Outreach Tutor

Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Start Date: September 2026

Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

We're particularly interested in candidates with:

Experience working with children or young people

Previous teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience

Experience supporting SEND, SEMH or disengaged learners

QTS or equivalent desirable

Excellent communication skills

A patient and creative approach to working with young people

To be eligible for this role, you must:

Hold the Right to Work in xjnqpsq the UK

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to obtain a new application

Provide two professional child-related references
