Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: South LiverpoolArea: Allerton Pay: £95 per day
Job DescriptionHays Education are working with a mainstream primary based in the Allerton area who are seeking a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to join them working in their SEN Hub.The role will involve:
Support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to access learning and participate fully in school life
Work under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo to deliver individual education plans (IEPs), EHCP targets, and tailored interventions
Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs
Adapt learning activities, resources, and teaching approaches to meet individual learning styles and abilities
Previous Experience Required
Previous experience working with SEN children at a primary age
Or relevant experience from a care background
Possession or ability to obtain enhanced DBS checks
