SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Greenwich, South East London

Pay: £95 - £115 per day

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Start: ASAP

Remedy Education are looking for a dedicated and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Greenwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with additional learning needs who can bring patience, consistency and a positive approach to the role.

You will be working closely with pupils who require additional support with communication, learning and behaviour, helping them access the curriculum and make steady progress in a nurturing environment. The school offers strong support from the SENCo and teaching team.

The role:

Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs

Assist with differentiated learning tasks and classroom routines

Support pupils with communication, confidence and emotional regulation

Work alongside the class teacher and SENCo to implement targeted strategies

Encourage positive engagement and help pupils develop independence

Support pupils during transitions, activities and structured interventions

The ideal candidate:

Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting

Patient, calm and confident managing different learning needs

Able to follow support plans and communicate xjnqpsq effectively with staff

Positive, reliable and adaptable in a classroom environment

Supportive and encouraging approach to pupil wellbeing

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS
