Description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Burnage who are actively seeking a Teaching Assistant to work both with small groups and 1:1 with pupils who have been diagnosed with various Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Year 2. The successful candidate will be working in a good, rated school that aims to enable individual children of all abilities to develop spiritually, physically, socially and intellectually in the fullest possible way. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school as soon as possible.

The Role:

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development

Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities

Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals

Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN

Collaborating with other staff members and professionals to ensure the holistic development of students

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
