SEN Teacher – Primary Nuneaton September Start

Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire

Salary: Competitive, based on experience (MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance)

Contract Type: Full–time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2025

Are you passionate about transforming the lives of children with special educational needs?

Do you have the resilience, creativity, and commitment to support primary–aged pupils with challenging behaviour?

We're seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a forward–thinking and nurturing primary provision in Nuneaton. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to pupils who need consistency, care, and structured support.

About the Role:

Teach and support a small class of primary–aged pupils with complex needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) and behavioural challenges.

Deliver a personalised, engaging, and inclusive curriculum with a strong emphasis on emotional regulation and social development.

Work closely with a skilled team of SEN professionals, teaching assistants, and therapists.

Implement EHCPs effectively and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers and external agencies.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

Proven experience working with children with SEN and challenging behaviour (in mainstream or specialist settings)

Strong classroom management and de–escalation strategies

Patience, empathy, and a commitment to trauma–informed practice

A passion for helping every child reach their full potential

What We Offer:

A supportive SLT and passionate staff team

Excellent CPD opportunities tailored to SEN and behaviour management

A well–resourced setting that prioritises wellbeing for staff and students alike

A chance to play a key role in a transformative educational journey for vulnerable pupils

Join us and help create a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated.

Apply now to be part of a school that values heart as much as skill.
