Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Start Date: April 2026 or September 2026 Full–Time Permanent or Long–Term

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a range of supportive and well–established secondary schools across Northampton to recruit a committed Mathematics Teacher for April or September 2026 starts. Opportunities are available for both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking the right environment to develop.

What You'll Be Doing:

Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 teaching in some schools

Planning and delivering lessons that develop fluency, reasoning, and problem–solving skills

Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, from high achievers to those requiring additional support

Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment

Supporting intervention strategies, revision sessions, and enrichment activities such as Maths clubs

Working as part of a collaborative and forward–thinking Maths department

About You:

Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) in Mathematics

Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching the national curriculum at KS3 and KS4

Committed to high expectations, both academically and behaviourally

Able to engage, motivate, and support students across a range of abilities

A team player who contributes positively to school life

ECTs are very welcome to apply, with excellent support and mentoring available.
