AWS Cloud Integration Engineer (SC Clearance)

Description

Our client, a key player within the Defence & Security sector, is seeking skilled AWS Cloud Integration Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This role supports the creation, management, and distribution of aeronautical information within a cloud infrastructure, specifically focusing on AWS. The position is based in Malvern with opportunities for remote working and requires Security Clearance (SC).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure and services to support the P-AIC systems.Identify problems, provide pragmatic solutions, and deliver various technical outputs including presentations, documentation, test plans, user guides, and CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with subcontractors to integrate products into the P-AIC System of Systems and the MOD Cloud Environment.Ensure alignment with compliance requirements while supporting other engineering and assurance teams.Engage fully in the agile development approach and support estimation and change control processes.

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in AWS and experience with a broad range of cloud services.Strong scripting skills and automation experience using tools like Ansible.Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Advanced use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and best practices.Understanding of cloud security best practices and competency with Identity and Access Management (IAM).Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills, with experience in incident response.Experience working in an Agile methodology.Ability to write comprehensive technical documentation and manage configuration control (Git).Experience with Terraform is highly desirable.
