About the Role

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and leading a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities

Store Operations:

• Oversee all daily store activities, including opening and closing.

• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.

• Manage stock levels, inventory replenishment, and shrinkage control.

Sales & Customer Service:

• Set and monitor sales goals and KPIs.

• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.

• Support staff with sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and develop store team members.

• Create and manage rotas, monitor payroll hours, and assign duties.

• Inspire a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

Financial Management:

• Monitor store budgets and financial performance.

• Prepare and present sales and operational reports.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.

• Promote a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Knowledge:

• Proven management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Strong background in team leadership, recruitment, and performance management.

• Confident decision-maker with the ability to lead through change and under pressure.

• Experience in operational retail processes, including stock control and store security.

Skills:

• Adaptable leadership style with empathy and emotional intelligence.

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

• Strong IT, time management, and analytical capabilities.

• Numerate, literate, and detail-oriented.

• Resilient and self-motivated.

Attributes:

• Flexible to work additional hours or support other store locations when needed.

• Quick to adapt to changing situations and challenges.
