Hi, we’re selling my wife’s Peugeot 308 SW Sport due to suspected mechanical issues, so please read the full description. This is not a fault-free car and is priced accordingly.

Mechanical condition (PLEASE READ):
The car was taken to a garage in December for an oil leak, where they identified:
-Leaking rocker cover
-Overheating issue
-Suspected thermostat not opening
-Chemical test suggested possible head gasket issues

Since then:
-Engine starts first time from cold
-No warning lights on the dash
-Drives normally over short distances
-No mayonnaise (creamy residue) under the oil filler cap (would indicate HG issue)
-No visible bubbling in the coolant when started from cold (would indicate HG issue)
However, due to the overheating problem, I would only recommend VERY short journeys or trailering to collect.

Bodywork/cosmetic condition:
-Dent to nearside passenger door
-Damage to offside wing/bumper area
-Dent to front plastic bumper trim
-Scuffs and corrosion on Alloys.
-No structural damage

Features include electric windows, aircon, fully glass roof with electric visor, huge boot space with split rear seats, roof rack, electric wing mirrors, alloy wheels, cruise control, 2 sets of electric keys with a spare mechanical-only key (handy for the beach).

The car has always been in our family from new, it belonged to my wife's father and he gave it to her.
