I’m Wendy, founder of Jump4Joy, supporting new puppy owners and owners struggling with their dogs unwanted behaviours.

I help my clients understand why their dog are behaving the way they do, get to the root cause and learn how to communicate with their dog in a way they understand.

Having experienced first-hand the challenges of raising a puppy who was over-excited, had no off-switch and developed reactive behaviours, I understand how stressful it can be when things don’t go as planned.

I support my clients throughout the process, giving them the knowledge, tools and confidence to create lasting change and enjoy their dog again.

My goal is to help my clients go from feeling stressed and overwhelmed to feeling confident, connected and truly enjoying life with their dog. ❤️

Wendy reassured and advised us on training our rescue lurcher. She is very 'hands on' and has greatly improved his behaviour and has given us the techniques to continue his training.

I approached Wendy, as I was struggling to control my 3 year old border collie rescue dog. Mila would get overexcited and have an almost constant need for attention. Mila was also scared of being around other dogs. After an initial call with Wendy and expressing my concerns , she could tell straightaway what the issues were, and this was confirmed after the first of three visits. I have learned some simple but very useful techniques, that have helped my Mila become more focused. She is able to concentrate on new commands, and I feel more confident that they are working. I highly recommend Jump4joy for their friendly, non judgemental approach and effective training. Thanks Wendy.

Wendy is very good and kind at puppy training,after my first session I was very happy and knew I had made the right decision to have Wendy from Jump4Joy, we have had six sessions,and I now have a puppy,that is well on her way to being trained,I shall miss my sessions,once again thank you very much Wendy.
