Vintage portable carpet beater by GE Holloway & Son (Engineers) Ltd, London.
Heavy grey cast-metal industrial machine with long handle, wrapped mains cable, dust bag, and two motors (drive and suction). Underside has a rotating shaft fitted with leather beating straps. Cream wheels for mobility. Nameplate reads “Hail Portable Carpet Beater” with serial/patent markings.
Used condition with surface rust, dust and wear, but complete as shown. A rare professional carpet-cleaning machine from a London engineering firm.
