Job Title: Welder (TIG / Gas Process)

Location: Gainsborough

Salary: 14.01 – 16.61 per hour DOE

Job Type: Full–Time – Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding on automotive exhaust components, including pipes, mufflers, and flanges.

Work with thin–gauge stainless steel and mild steel, ensuring clean, accurate welds with minimal distortion.

Interpret technical drawings and fabrication specs related to exhaust systems.

Fit, assemble, and weld parts to meet OEM or aftermarket specifications.

Inspect completed welds for strength, accuracy, and appearance in line with industry and safety standards.

Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, organised work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in TIG welding, particularly in the automotive or metal fabrication industry.

Strong ability to weld thin materials without burn–through or distortion.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
