Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to take full ownership of the Quality function and Quality Management System (QMS). This is a hands–on, onsite leadership role, managing a department of approximately 10 quality professionals, including Senior Quality Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Inspectors.

The successful Quality Manager will play a key role in ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and third–party requirements while driving continuous improvement across the business.

Core Responsibilities for the selected Quality Manager

Overall ownership and maintenance of the company Quality Management System (QMS) and associated documentationLeadership, coordination, and workload allocation across the Quality teamEnsure delivered products and components meet all design, customer, and regulatory requirementsAlign Quality activities with business needs and production prioritiesMaintain compliance with third–party approvals, customer standards, and regulatory bodiesLead and oversee root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for product and process issuesEnsure Quality audits are planned and executed across all relevant processesOversee and plan PPAPs, FAIRs, and APQP activitiesMaintain and report all Quality and Compliance MetricsSupport and contribute to training and development to ensure team capability and competencyDrive best practices, continuous improvement, and quality excellence across the organisationManage customer returns, complaints, and non–conformances The appointed Quality Manager will need to meet the following key skills & experience for the position.

Proven leadership experience managing and developing Quality teamsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast–paced environmentExtensive experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001; AS9100 highly desirableWorking knowledge of NADCAP and CAA requirements (highly desirable)Solid understanding of Quality Engineering practices within aerospace or regulated manufacturingHands–on experience with FAIRs, PPAPs, APQP, and 8D problem–solvingStrong analytical and decision–making skills with a proactive mindsetExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver business–focused quality outcomes
