Temp to Perm | Deeside Industrial Estate

£12.89 per hour + Enhanced Overtime + 6% Pension

Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm

We're recruiting a motivated General Operator to join a busy and well-established recycling site. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, has a sharp eye for detail, and takes pride in maintaining quality and safety standards.

What You'll Be Doing

Loading and unloading containers and curtain siders using a forklift

Inspecting, testing, and grading materials (paper, cardboard, plastics)

Carrying out quality checks and gravimetric testing, accurately recording results

Identifying and removing non-conforming materials

Sorting split loads and completing paperwork for the Weighbridge Administrator

Rotating stock, cleaning the yard, and keeping work areas safe and tidy

Completing daily machinery and equipment checks

Liaising with drivers, site operators, and the Weighbridge tea

What We're Looking For

Experience in recycling, warehouse, yard, or waste environments

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Forklift experience desirable (but not essential)
