Role Overview

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to support our production team on a part–time, ad hoc basis. This role involves assisting with the preparation, production, packing, and handling of food products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety. Ideal for individuals looking for flexible work with longer shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and production of food products in line with company standards

Operate basic production and packing equipment (training provided)

Pack, label, and check products for quality and accuracy

Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and production lines

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times

Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines

Report any issues, faults, or quality concerns to supervisors

Work as part of a team to ensure smooth production flow during shifts

Requirements

Ability to work 12–hour shifts on a flexible, ad hoc basis

Willingness to work in a fast–paced production environment

Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety (training provided if required)

Ability to stand for long periods and carry out repetitive tasks

Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shift availability

Desirable (but not essential)

Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse work

Food hygiene certification

Experience working long shifts or rotating shift patterns
