Operations Manager

Description

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our client , a company operating in the FMCG industry, based in Birmingham.

The Operations Manager will be reporting directly to the Operations Director.

Job Purpose for the Operations Manager role

Manage 24/7 operations to maintain quality assurance and legal compliance. Ensure profitability and promote the company s image. Uphold customer audit requirements and core company values. Operations Manager Main Responsibilities & Duties

Oversee day–to–day operations within budget limits and maximize resource use. Provide leadership and motivation to staff for performance improvement. Establish and control the annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Maintain customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Implement cost control measures and lean principles to reduce waste. Internal and External Relationships

Manage relationships with Production Managers, Logistics Manager, and Quality Assurance teams. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and third–party agencies as needed. The ideal candidate will have food FMCG experience .
